This model in particular is has been simplified in assembly in comparison to similar models from
different companies so the customer doesn’t run into trouble assembling.
The frame has two options of assembly: regular level position and high level position.
Every ones sleeping habits are unique: some like to sleep highly elevated from the floor and some like it low.
This option makes box spring not necessary unless even highest position isn’t high enough.
The 12 slats are supported by 3 middle supports and also have extensions to make the two height levels possible.
The supports add durability to the frame and allow up to 600lbs of weight.
The slats are interconnected to allow even spread of weight.
J&M has pre drilled holes in slats and rails to save costumers time and nerves.
The screws that connect footboards to rails are to screw in from the outside unlike similar models of other companies,
which makes its easier to assemble because there’s no need to make adjustments to angle
and distance from the edge of footboard and headboard.
The outside screws are covered by decorative buttons of the same color as a bed.
All the wooden merchandise from J&M is made of hard tropical wood and manufactured at factories in Malaysia and Indonesia.
The wood has environmentally friendly multi step finish to prevent damage from fungi and wet climate.

This bed is great! Easy to assemble and looks great. Very sturdy. Only thing is there are no extra screws/bolts - one bolt was stripped - would have been nice to have a few extra screws/bolts to save time of going out to find one. Very pleased with this bed.
